April is recognized nationally as Child Abuse Awareness Month. I work for a non-profit in Charlotte, North Carolina that works to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect.

As you can see, I have some good information up there, but it definitely needs some decoration. So, I’m appealing to the amazing artists of deviantART to submit any and all artwork that can be used to spread the message about the damage child abuse and neglect can cause.

I would love to see all kinds of submissions, including logos, banners, or poster designs, drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, poetry, stories, even ASCII art.

This is for a great cause, and I know some of the incredibly talented and creative people in this community can create some very moving images and writing for this very worthy cause.

By submitting your art, you allow us to use it for the promotion of Child Abuse Awareness Month or for other future child abuse prevention initiatives. If you have any questions about this, please ask first.

I don’t have the budget for a prize, but all participants will receive the warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from helping a good cause.
